The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 比想象中要好，可以作为国内小成本软科幻的一个范例了，悬疑感弱了点，别那么快揭晓核心主题的话会更有吸引力。

生怕观众看不懂，片名就说明了平行空间。小成本拍的不错。
从氛围到摄影再到配乐绝对是网大里非常亮眼的作品 编剧导演同一人 我觉得非常有才啊 这样的片子值得四星鼓励
看不下去，说是被好莱坞买了版权，也不过是那边想借鉴彗星来的那一夜又想避免版权纠纷罢了，演员演技和台词也挺脱离生活的，雷哥这位哥估计也是在闭门造车中锻炼出来的
3.5星，先码后评。三个演员演成这样蛮不容易了，虽然逻辑上感觉有一两处捣糨糊式过渡过去了，但剧本基础还蛮好的，可发挥的空间挺大的。

在国产片的制作中，小成本小团队制作的电影挺多，但是能排出这类电影，还是需要有一定的功底。

《彗星来的那一夜》国产版，讨论的还是平行世界相干的可能性。但片头抢救和片尾监护仪警示音还是赋予了影片嵌套的空间。
