The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 这应该就是暗黑版童话故事吧。如果是格林兄弟，会不会把这个改编成另一个世界名著童话故事呢。
也就只是一周口碑榜的片子了。导演有点贪心，好像什么都想讲，最终却又好像什么都没讲清楚、没讲好。所以，导演到底想干嘛？

细碎化的叙事，近景特写的切换以及只言片语的诗意对话让整个故事更加支离破碎。女巫或许只是导演表达的一个借口，但却是我全部兴趣的关注好奇所在。
这导演不喜欢马力克 我就把我头割下来！ 果然这种风格对我来说 真的是太受用了！我喜欢那种漂浮的声音和沉重的故事！
每次在小女巫幸福的时候，都被因为嫉妒而来的玛利亚女巫毁掉，换心化形的女巫设定蛮吸引人一直看下去的。
确实有些过于煽情，不过倒也是好看的，而且挺感人。
圣丹斯评审团大奖。澳大利亚导演，拍出了一部俄罗斯影像风格的氛围恐怖片。将爱放逐，细细的红线，隐秘的生活，女巫通过不停杀人挖心脏塞心脏感受不同的村民生命体验。不是合格的节奏恐怖片，视听很新颖。
生命何其短 视为珍宝者 亦具无一之天赋矣
可以看作是《画皮》+《兽王记》+《皮囊之下》的缝合之作，能让人联想到中国电影《不再让你孤单》和《爱有来生》，可能因为片名，也可能因为时间的跨度，主人公的内心独白又有点日本漫画风格。故事的背景是欧洲农耕时代，如果换成中国农耕时代，必定极度震撼，可惜未能尽兴。
