The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 油画处理的画面，4比3的画幅，画猫终于是找准了定位。片名的Electrical是电气之意，心中的电流是因为遇到了家庭教师艾米丽和陪伴一生的猫。
看了个寂寞…毫无剧情（可能是有所期待的我太傻了…
本片故事线分为三条
复古式的画面，古老的英国乡村风光，悲催的家庭，可爱的猫咪。卷福的表演太有特色了，画家的笨拙、啰嗦、痴迷被他演绎得极其真实。画家韦恩的人生与他作品中的猫生对比鲜明，导演也采用了这种对比手法，展现了韦恩的爱情、亲情、家庭，并让观众看到其作品的美。值得一提的是，那个年代画猫是一件需要勇气的事情。
美术表现特别好，卷福的表演也不用多说，都是加分项。
有这样的姐姐，更有这样的女友，还能要求什么呢？

故事一般，不过卷福还是更适合这样的角色发挥。
