我不喜欢他们不使用一个真正犯罪的人做主角，内心不受罪责的煎熬使她所有的行为在观众视角都值得“原谅”，她是伟大的无辜者，剧中其他角色对她的怨言都是无端的责难——这种视角太老旧了，也并不能体现一个罪人重建生活的艰难，赎罪在她的视角里根本不存在，警长的一对儿子塑造的什么鬼，无端的怒气和怨责未免太多了吧……《海边的曼彻斯特》和《冬天的骨头》同题，却远逊于这两部。

即使刚刚出狱满面风尘的桑德拉布洛克也还是很美，所有的克制和隐忍都出于保护和想见妹妹的心。（其实见过了太多这种题材，但桑德拉这次的表演影后预定了
剧情有点老套，不过导演功力不错，情绪调度好。不过说实话无论她是否是凶手，这个故事都一直成立甚至会更有讨论价值，因此后来那个twist有点没必要。

没人关心受害者及受害者家属，包括旁观者和施暴者。通常地，所有人的视角里没有受害者，没有受害者家属。
关于这个故事，关于那些坐过牢的人，那些遭遇过侵犯的人，他们如何走出阴影，如果让生活重新开始，如何获得周围人的平视而非歧视，这永远是一个值得思考的问题。小小感动，深深思索。

好棒！题材和演技都非常好。大家都有自己的桎梏，只有和自己和解，才能安心地活下去。
很压抑，幸亏除了那位老警长以外，再没有死人，尤其没有死无辜的人。几个头绪安排得脉络清晰，流畅。布洛克“自毁形象”，赞！
