The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 危情夫妻勇斗三恶徒，剧情设计不错，亮点是各种意外环节。拄拐老爷子最为关键和牛逼。
看到网飞经典的黑人母人两板斧大概就能猜到好坏。肤浅的肢体暴力和垃圾剧本，几乎是侮辱小说和游戏的创作水准。

情感主线渲染的很好，两个烂人面对生活的烂摊子，想出来的办法却都是杀掉对方。即使亲爹被杀，想到的也是逃跑，烂到家。全程都是又废物又绝望。因为情绪铺垫的好，后面打斗再离谱都觉得不意外。最喜欢的桥段是老爷子开电动车。
