The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 同志的青春期成长的故事真是拍到找不到一点新意了，谁来演都一样。
本人美国梦的启蒙就是这类青春片，在某一个夏天关于自我统一性混乱的问题都会因为meet someone而引刃而解，和自己和解和这个世界和解。如果不行就听着音乐骑车飞驰吧！

故事其实挺残酷的，但拍得很轻巧，导演竟然是一个完全的新人，主演特洛耶希文对我而言，也完全是新人，从没看过他之前任何作品，但表演真是不错。顺便一提，影片的音乐也很棒，非常契合夏天
