The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 很多cult片的侧重点全在暴力血腥上，故事完全没了逻辑可言，十部有九部我看完只会觉得被耍了，然而还不好发作，因为是cult片，cult仿佛成了一切合理不合理的挡箭牌。但这片子的血腥情节是就着故事发展很自然而然出现的，至少对观众的脑子态度放尊重了不少，我难得的能像看剧情片一样看一部血腥电影，并且还能随着对白发出爆笑，我还要什么自行车啊！
感情的混乱、无形的压力、象棋的故事三篇特别好，其他也维持在较高水准。
茨维格的中篇小说里，最喜欢《象棋的故事》。电影虽不及原著，但改编也不错，男主演技好，最后的棋局拍的相当精彩。
7.2分。还是很有些看头，虽然不算特别经典
不能理解法国人的幽默还是多一星给对素食主义者和肉食主义者偏执狂双向批判
西方已经太注重意识形态对立了，都是空闲时间太多导致的。肉食者和素食者的对立。黑人，白人。西方，东方。
这部电影讲故事手法比较新颖，让人感受很深的是极端思想的厉害性，做人还是平和的好啊！

这个故事教育了我们，家有贤妻，丈夫在外不做横事。以及，那个姑爷没死就挺遗憾的。

题材很暗黑，但拍的很sunshine，这很法国。没什么出挑的优点，黑色幽默什么的也谈不到，不过没大毛病，随便看看就还行吧。
