The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 偶然翻阅截图相册，发现疫情前期已有小道消息说剧组要来华巡演，那时的期待如歌曲本身一般昂扬热切。孤岛壁垒被打破，大洋之上是平等众生共同奏响的波西米亚狂想曲，灯光汇聚每一角落，借由新时代流媒，远渡重洋的温暖故事，在这个似乎重蹈覆辙的严冬给人以鼓舞。
就是幾年前看過這個令我一發不可收拾的愛上歌劇！

在演出又被疫情取消的晚上看完了2020年因为疫情被取消的CFA。我真的太久没看过global视角+充满diversity的引进剧了…泪点很多，最戳我心的还是Me and the Sky。

于漫漫黑夜中，绝望无尽处，看到光，那是人性中的“善”，总有希望，总有温暖。
第一看这种类型的音乐剧，没有经典音乐剧耳熟能详、令人心潮澎湃的唱段，也没有《汉密尔顿》《Six》那样流行得抓耳又抓眼，扣准现代大众审美，相比之下它的故事铺开得有点平淡写实，但这样的节奏和画面又并不无趣。
