The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 除了结婚和生孩子，电影里的每件事都好像做过了。大概我的生活就好像其他影评阐述的一样：好像说了什么又好像什么都没说。其实还挺对胃口的，看完想去函馆养老了。（私自更青睐滑板那段部分情节）
综合起来不错，只是平行空间可能不是这样的。
伯德小姐，JR先生。复古老爷车，旧式保龄球。平淡而又感人的人生日志。（其实uncle的形象有点过于完美了）

草地、大海、奔跑、烟火以及陌生人递过来的烟。函馆那么美，但好像也无法治愈电影中和电影外那些抑郁崩溃的人。
广州坐高铁回家时观看。另一出“驾驶我的车”。能意识到当下社会对于青年人的隐性压迫，颓丧，迷惘。无望的将来引人坠入冰冷的大海，而绚烂的烟火，奔跑，山中的赤狐，仿佛就成了苟且的理由。活下去，走下去，坚持下去，或许有一天生活会变得好一点呢。
两星半吧，剧本有点糙，主角的心理变化走向本应是决定整部电影的主题的，差那么一口气没拔起来。设定被玩烂了没玩出新花样，整体平平无奇，有彗星在前，又不如彗星的节奏和紧张感。人性在这种情境下居然还这么善良（冷静）？听到儿子还活着的时候，立刻开枪杀了她不是更符合那种经历诡异事件后心理变化吗？
属于国产小成本电影对悬念类型的一次开拓性尝试。人物塑造上上很中国化，情节设计上环环相扣，虽有一些逻辑上的漏洞，但细节缺失属于国产电影的通病，因此不想因此指责导演或制片方。最后，真心希望我国能在电影审查上能够再宽松一些，给我们的电影工作者营造一个自由度更高的发挥空间，
