The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 剧本很用心，编了很多层壳，每次反转，都会带出一个新的内核，野心很大，完成度也不错。节奏稍微有一点点慢，可能也是为了烘托大上海民国那个气氛，其他没啥缺点，值得去电影院。
一切都淡淡的，哀伤淡淡的，激情淡淡的，美也淡淡的。女主好好看，坐在窗户那儿抽烟好美。一边给儿子准备早点也可以抽着烟（我们拍要被喷死吧？）多元审美多好。我们为什么老停在白幼？
好看，好看，好看。重要的事说三遍也不为过。毫无疑问，这又是电影迷+剧本杀迷的福音。在电影院里看一些电影人拍电影实在是太有意思了，为了钱拍大烂片的导演，为了大卖魔改的投资人制作人，以及后面“故事发生在本土却又跑去国外拍”的梗直接对审查的反讽，影迷看了绝对会心一笑。片中对闪灵的致敬以及各种喜剧加悬疑加惊悚因素的配合实在忒妙了。剧本方面也较为优秀，反转加反转，虽然后半段刚看完可能会有点乱，但细思加回味细节之后形成逻辑闭环的爽感难以言表。毫无疑问，这是继唐探1之后国产最好的悬疑加喜剧，没有之一。我要吹爆它。你可以永远相信韩寒！张本煜的表演太帅了，都给我去看哇！//二刷，电影彩蛋梗，预告片梗，片酬梗，烂片之王梗，挖出来不敢拍，这些电影梗玩的太好。齐乐山用命守护着夜莺呜呜呜。
簡單輕鬆，音樂真好 有時候追求只是簡單的美好
这虽然与我想象中的不一样，我也很努力的在生活。
情感真挚，叙事平缓，中间插了一些档案化的胶卷镜头很是好评。在静静流淌的塞纳河畔，希望我们都能找到心灵的皈依。

电影开始后5分钟就不能入场了，那就偷溜进去看圆月映花都吧
80年代的巴黎，淡淡的哀愁，轻盈的忧伤，过于舒展细腻到一度以为是候麦拍的
他们去看《圆月映花都》，在屋顶聊到它，巴黎的柔和夜色，生活中不经意的一瞥、一次相遇，导演将温柔贯彻到底了。
电影里有段台词，刀仙和小师妹，双剑合璧杀妖怪。没有逐梦演艺圈，只有复仇和家国大义。
看完在脑子里捋了一下，感觉没有特别大逻辑上的硬伤，每个人的表演都很有张力 ，因为场地的原因还带点舞台剧跟综艺的质感，实验性比较强，但真的看得出来是很有诚意很用心的作品；比较大的不足可能是转场跟很多情节的推动上有点生硬跟刻意，不是很自然
每一个路灯点亮员都会终结一个夜，一个因为错过，浪漫被延时发生的夜。
