The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 4:3黑白、打光，这都像黑泽明的电影元素。虽然不同场景间剪辑衔接地很巧妙，但大段自言自语舞台剧风格的电影真让我受不了，20分钟弃剧。

科恩兄弟分开后就刻意去掉喜怒无常荒诞的命运巧合和暴力的黑色幽默了，唯一喜欢的就是古早味的美术摄影了。
有几个场景我特别喜欢，但是没有英文字幕的情况下看太吃力了。
像是在看舞台剧一样。莎翁可以拍，但没什么必要。个人不太喜欢丹泽尔·华盛顿扮演的麦克白，感觉就是把《籓篱》的表演模式照搬了过来。

棚拍制作出来舞台美学
改编自莎翁名著《麦克白》，但科恩兄给它赋予了浓重的舞台话剧风，那种一个人对着空气念拗口旁白的感觉很不对我胃口。相比而言，《蜘蛛巢城》就改编得很接地气。有黑泽明这座大山在前边挡着，其他导演还是绕道行驶吧。

丹泽尔华盛顿演得确实是不太行……灯光真漂亮，女巫那几场戏非常好。
嗯……其实并不理解，选择这种形式，为何又选择这些演员？
古典悲剧的宿命捉弄借以极其冷峻和风格化的影像+声音风格被无限放大。看正片其实反而没有看trailer时那么惊喜，因为全片都是如此风格。但也太享受了，future classic.
