The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 最后的结果虽然不是两人重归于好，但是能算得上是一个好的，现实的结果。
价值：《向着明亮那方》传递的是中国情感，又是创作者希望世界可以看到历史可以留下的中国情感，希望在双减之年，本片可以成为孩子们和家长们一生珍藏的影集。

一直很爱看国外的绘本电影，很高兴看到我国也能有这种风格的动画电影。
同性家庭跟异性家庭一样都有一本难念的经 但是“爱”总会让彼此在一起 非常有意思有爱的电影 love is love
很独特，很难得。以往国产低幼动画几乎是低劣的代名词，其实低幼动画更需要有品质有审美的作品。
