The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. Excellent movie! I’m glad that they put this story on the big screen. Hopefully more of those who didn’t realize it now finally did. However I doubt that. Leave alone the incorrigible ones. It’s time for the intelligent people to reconsider it seriously: are we truly smart to let those stupid guys in charge and put us into such a situation?

简单的娱乐。讽刺幽默都是简单直白的，黑色成分非常淡。
基督教一直在倒计时，现代文化对着倒计时逆向行驶（形如本杰明巴顿里的荒凉感），而美国精神总以为自己是在奔跑（阿甘正传）。不过如果真有世界末日，应该是混杂着rick and morty 里的狂欢和《乡愁》里的宗教感。又，其实我们已经在这一天了，对每个人来说都必有一死，对人类命运来说前途未卜，不是么

我特喜欢导演在处理这种密集时态+紧急事件的快剪跳切方式，让人一下子就能沉浸于此并过渡叙事，这在《大空头》就很明显了。此片的重点不在于彗星将要撞地球，而在于把一个危及全球的紧急事件穿插在各大段情节中，调侃讽刺政客作秀、选举丑闻、娱乐至死、肤浅传媒、麻木人世、狗血八卦、流量至上、反智主义以及无良资本家，——某种程度与当今新冠的世情形成互文，于此中犹有黑色荒诞意味。就这趋势人类毁灭是早晚的，这情境犹如看库布里克《奇爱博士》——“毁灭吧，赶紧的！”当你抬头看到彗星近在咫尺，“可怕又美丽”，为人类文明顺利画上休止符。临终前的哀悼，文明的终结，人类的大起大落，真TM刺激。7.9

2022第一部电影。完成度不行，喜剧部分不够有趣，严肃部分不够升华，整部片子下来高概念但不痛不痒，老李和甜茶带来了毫无惊喜的表演。
亚当麦凯竟然拍了一部《2021去死！》，跟年初那部网飞恶搞片一样啊，聚焦当下美国的分裂，将各种社会问题集中于本片展现，点子非常好笑，但是合起来就很散，属于还不错的段子电影
分两次看完的。印象最深的是那个将军去茶水间拿了水和零食然后charge他们几个一人10刀，太讽刺了，因为谁会想到一个将军会利用10刀和人玩权力的游戏呢？甜茶的演技我喜欢！大表姐的演技我也喜欢！小李演一个畏畏缩缩的大学教授竟然没有大亨味儿了，虽然中间一度又让他做大亨了。
四星半吧。喜欢媒体片常用的明快剪辑，喜欢大表姐的蓝眼睛，喜欢A妹诡异造型也盖不住的盛世美颜，喜欢女王昙花一现的礼服，喜欢老李最弱个人特色式的表演，选角方面乔纳西尔和“AI先生”真是绝了。

符合时宜的荒诞讽刺剧，说真话的人才疯了，套路太熟悉一切都很无奈。
当总统说有准备飞船可以逃跑时，突然觉得这个片前面的荒诞一下子都变得无比真实。
四星半吧。喜欢媒体片常用的明快剪辑，喜欢大表姐的蓝眼睛，喜欢A妹诡异造型也盖不住的盛世美颜，喜欢女王昙花一现的礼服，喜欢老李最弱个人特色式的表演，选角方面乔纳西尔和“AI先生”真是绝了。
绝对是这两年最好的电影。密集的段子，极致的荒诞与真实，把科学和资本和政治的合谋和分裂写得淋漓尽致。刚看完还处于宇宙混沌状态，脑子里只有一句振聋发聩的话：peer review真的是太重要了！！！
遭重了... 这个破玩意不配称为电影 荷里活再捧麦凯我真的会谢...
