The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 「三十而立」的衍生片，毛晓彤和杨玏是挺有c p感的，演员是找对了，剧情稍有些矫情了点，前半段节奏也是有点慢，后半段的一些戏剧冲突也有点稍显刻意，纯粹就是为了推动剧情，最后的结局也是能猜到的，也算是个正常合理的结局了，可是时间点这么明确，没有提也没见任何疫情有关的东西是不是有点太不合理了。不过，值得一提的是，谭雅和丞琳的两首bgm为这部爱情片增色了不少。总体而言，还算可以，算是元旦档期唯一能看的片子了。

看剧情的话，希望能够停止在两人分手后再重逢的那里，而不是和好；看CP的话，挺希望他俩现实在一起的。
流于表面的一种爱情方式的呈现，普通且老套。
