The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 想法十分不错，从克隆人类型中另辟蹊径，不再从争夺、替代、欺骗这些直接的主题中寻求新时代（姑且这么称呼）生命体的答案，而是让他们在人类因故离去之后，完成人类所未完成的任务或使命，很有点像前段时间的《芬奇》，代替人类守护家人（宠物）这样的设定，整部片子节奏舒缓，极其适合消磨午后时光，四颗星。
假设苹果拍电影动用了自己的产品设计部、广告部、appletv、apple car、apple music、apple design、“apple future”那么，这就是一部融合的综合宣传片

太难过了，大概一个小时之后我就开始一直流泪，在远离城区的地方一个人死去，骨灰洒在大海里，“我”变成自己生活的局外人，流水一般的电影，Ali流水一般的表演，我该如何与自己和深爱的人做最后的告别，我该如何与流水一般的生命告别啊。配乐真好，科幻与哲学的深处都是寂静的，电影对这点把握得很好。
导演对科技的幻想不够充分，又对人性的美好过于乐观。事实上，没有人会希望自己被“另一个人”彻底取代，甚至连自己的死亡都不在这世上留下任何痕迹。
