The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 最后一部录像带真的莫名搞笑，就是说临走前想让大家轻松一下吗
算是系列回勇之作？既然叫自己錄像帶，那這部的質感終於對了，這才是錄像帶該有的樣子嘛，所以我感覺整體驚喜程度正好是正比下降的，第一個故事挺驚喜，第二個故事中規中矩，第三個開始有點扯，最後一個就是無趣，然後到了串起整個故事的核心就直接崩了。畢竟還是不同導演的作品，自然還是有好有壞。
3.5，在这个类型里，其实还算不错了。几个故事都不错，够地下，够带劲。主线那个故事比较拉胯，故弄玄虚，拔高也完全没拔起来。
第二个故事殡仪馆致敬了活跳尸，第三个故事生化人那段不错 其他没啥意思
值得推荐的恐怖片 人体改造那段值得一部独立电影
第一个故事最佳，很好地展示了伪纪录风格吸引人的地方，完整的故事背景和来自Rat Man的未知恐惧相得益彰，大大增强了剧情高潮带给人的观感刺激。三星。

第三个故事机械女挺好，甚至可以拍部长片。总得来说没有前几部好看，主线跟支线小故事关联性也不大。

但是从改造人那个故事开始就有些过于冗长了

美式恐怖是激进的邪教，印尼恐怖是变成怪人不被社会接受，中国恐怖是……反正也没人拍，算了不说了，这一部劣质录像带感减少了很多，演员台词太过关、构图太专业、剪辑节奏太恰好，大大降低了故事的恐怖程度
回归到VHS的正常制作水准，比较来看还是第一个故事最有意思。
cult短篇集。如果不是不久前看了《灵媒》可能因为伪纪录片的形式还会再加半星。
