A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

BC的演技炉火纯青了，菲尔让人心疼，为什么人们对于和自己不一样的人不能少一点敌意多一点包容爱情与年龄无关，也可以和性别无关对吗？
不是特别赞同这种“很稳”的叙事…在我看来有点重点迷失，全靠观众自己脑补的感觉…
导演的《钢琴课》是儿时记忆中最震撼的存在，那种压抑之下的情欲展现充满了绵长的张力，而冲突累积到极致之后的爆发时刻让人难以忘怀。近三十年后，导演用一部主题类似的《犬之力》重回巅峰状态，只不过表现更加克制，调度更加精准。邓斯特和她酷似马特达蒙的老公继《冰血暴》第二季之后再续前缘，很难想象这个内心秩序逐渐崩溃靠酗酒来存活的女人，曾经还是蜘蛛侠的女朋友。卷福的演活了一个外强中干用虚张声势来在掩饰空虚的牛仔，值得一座影帝小金人。
《犬之力》的最佳导演肯定是板上钉钉。在最佳改编剧本上，我还是押CODA，所以CODA最终会三提三中，这在奥斯卡最佳影片的历史上也是独一份，毕竟它连通常是最佳影片托底的最佳剪辑提名都没拿到。20220324
两个点有问题，A 斐尔根子上对自己的性向是没有疑问的，不是混沌不明游移待认同的状态，他只是不敢出柜（影片对这一点的表达是很清楚的），这使整体立意显得直白（无论手法多么含蓄）：一个憋坏了的同志遇到形似小受反被做掉的惨淡际遇。B 选卷福是个错误，英国剧场味太浓，换布拉德皮特或者马特达蒙之类更适合。
以为是又一部断背山，实际是标准的剧情片。同性元素作为丰富人物的因素。看完抖三抖。。。
卷福演的真是好，抽烟喷烟那两下，真是绝了，还有那些眼神，太牛了。少年的梳子是在什么电影里看过吗，总觉得有印象，但是想不起来了。西部片演的这么回荡，真的是难得，
竟然是这种电影。我本将心向明月，奈何明月要杀我。
伤人的不是枪，是班卓琴和牛仔套索；危难不在荒野，在昏暗阴冷的农场大宅；最关键的人物没出现，是男主深藏心底的幽灵；雄性彪悍由脆弱感滋养，疯邪和清纯犹豫在一念之间。 从断背山、Slow West到The Nightingale，新世纪的新西部片没断过，而且多是非美国影人执掌。Campion的新作潜入新的深度，精彩算意料之中，但依然被其丰满的形式、克制的手法、全方位之杰出所震撼到。top 2021
一部控制力杰出的电影，和《钢琴教师》构成对女性与男性欲望与权力世界探讨的两部曲或拱形建筑的两端。表面上看是有惊无险地把注意力集中在彼得的母亲罗斯和她前夫的兄弟菲尔之间。菲尔嫉妒弟媳妇在家庭中的位置，弟媳妇则嫌弃菲尔的粗鲁，就像野蛮人一样（埋怨他上桌吃饭前不洗干净）。但是在谜底揭开的时候，我们发现最汹涌的冲突或情感张力是被掩护在表层之下的，是在菲尔和他的侄子彼得之间。在影片结尾并没有给出一个确切的解释，只是援引法医学的术语，说他很大可能不是死于炭蛆病。那么他可能是被彼得谋杀的。就像菲尔和他的“导师”布朗科·亨利的关系，二人也是师徒，年龄之间的差就像菲尔今天和彼得之间的年龄差，但是在一次夜晚肌肤相亲的意外之后，布朗科·亨利意外逝世。
糟糕的观影体验，莫名其妙的情绪，实在尴尬。所谓的隐喻和指代都极为肤浅与浮于表面。

可惜那么好的配乐，查了一下竟是绿木，惊喜，可惜。摄影也好
非常无聊的电影。就这样容易弄死了卷福？小男孩gay里gay气的居然这么狠毒，他妈也神神化化的，胖呆蒙也是傻乎乎的。
古典文学专业/音乐/日常表演「男性气质」（粗野，肮脏，无礼，野性）/二十年悼亡死去的恋人（年上/养成）/偷看健美杂志/歇斯底里的崆峒深柜，被「独立自主聪慧机敏/被认为有女性气质人格/的男性」所夺魂并击败：经典（也意味着司空见惯）的性别话语反差操演。
遇到白莲花圣母女主和她阴郁冷漠又残忍自私的儿子，男主Phil真的倒了八辈子血霉！
州长夫妇和父母的压迫感更多的是衬托本尼的存在吧？我不太觉得那是另一种权利或者力量带来的压迫。
罗马之后，第二部给Netflix电影四星，画面很棒，人物关系的发展很隐晦但很有暗张力
简洁克制却张力十足，男性的粗粝与阴柔，甚至人性的残酷与脆弱都刻画的太好了。
