The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up.     电影没有预期中的精彩，不过让我想到了一句古话：人之将死其言也善。而故事中主人公临死前这最后一曲天鹅挽歌，究竟是善，还是恶，似乎是一个接近哲学层次是命题，看似简单，但有太多的问题需要探讨。电影给出了其中的一种可能，一种结局，以此回应我们关于科技、生物、人伦与未来如何达成和解或者统一的设想。必须承认，这个回应是不完美的，但或许这并不重要，重要的是，通过这个不完美的设想，引发更多的人去思考它、完善它，因为终有一天这个设想将在真实的世界中成为现实。因此，如今的思考和探讨，即便荒诞、甚至不着边际，都是充满意义的。
