The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 为什么主角的勇敢要靠女孩子暴露自己来实现啊……（无语）中途班级同学讨论性向问题也很尴尬 神尾枫珠选的剧本题材还挺广的 但是目前为止给我留下深刻印象的也就很久以前的那一部而已 其他都不太行 这部也是
出乎意料的好！就是还不太习惯日本编剧那种猛猛发言的中二感罢了。本来觉得男主跳楼那里的堆积还不够，但是居然瑕不掩瑜。男主和女主都在找寻自我，完成自我认同，片中关于bl话题的讨论没有过紧也没有过松，就刚刚好卡在没人与我们讨论过，但又是最多人难以避免会遇到的那个位置。我真的好爱网友稻叶佑希的那条暗线，以及结局那片虚假的火烧云。作为一部青春片，已经是超水平了。
景选的蛮好看 两个人最后的选择还算合理 女孩子真阳光可爱啊
女主真的是天使吧。男主说，“结婚、生子，哪天再生个孙子，在家人的簇拥下离世，我也想要那种幸福。如果是和你，我觉得应该能好好交往。”无论如何，不管女主如何为男主辩解，对幸福的渴望不能建立在伤害爱你的人的基础之上。女主在大礼堂为男主说的话真是太温暖了：“他的周围，有面看不见的墙。他所创造的这面墙，不是为了保护自己，而是为了保护我们，为了让我们不害怕。舍弃自己，抹杀自己，让世界变得简单。他，厌恶自己，却喜欢着我们。但是这样的他，我却非常喜欢。最初可能是因为他是男生才喜欢的他，现在，是因为他是这样的人才喜欢的他。所以，他能活着真是太好了。”“如果这个世界没有摩擦，我们可能再也不会前进。”
不知道自己看了个啥。办公室爱情轻喜剧，混加一些bdsm元素。
很想不代入过多的道德观去评价这部片子。前半段好像泡在一片深蓝的海里，压抑、纠结、隐瞒与情欲，带着青春期独有的酸涩。其实我们要学习的不是如何应付他人的眼光，而是怎样去接受真实的自己。跳楼之前的一切都恰到好处，但爆发这段戏处理得实在太软绵绵，连挣扎和转变都空白无力，以至于后半段又不可避免地落入俗套，归入了一个超现实的童话结局。这样的结尾是发生在男同性恋群体身上、发生在男权社会中，不禁觉得有些讽刺。女孩子果然是世界的宝物。
日本的bgm真的好，有些对白写得也很好，就是觉得其实有点拖沓
我擅自幻想了一下腐女的身份（虽然也是喜欢耽美但有点恐同），会想看自己的男朋友和男人那啥胜过和自己吧，然后会用母爱和友情包裹在一起作为爱情的替代和他在一起？
加入了点到为止的社会议题，让人看完后仍要反思。男主从像物理题一样希望一切都可以假设摩擦力为0，到认为唯有摩擦才能改变的转变的设定也特别棒。
太难看了，就是一个充满噱头的爱情片，还是很俗的那种。你一个这种题材的，尺度那么小，你难道还想稿全年龄可看？浪费时间！
一个骗婚，一个骗感情，专治低血压。年轻演员们的演技和台词都很一般，唯一能入眼的只有游泳的小企鹅和三浦的私服穿搭。让人昏昏欲睡的电影进行到3/4终于迎来剧情高潮——三浦面对全校师生勇敢演讲，“我——最喜欢BL了！”我也是呀！亮平和三浦的理智温柔包容让人心疼，勉为其难加一颗星

他跳得太果断了，当时一定是想去bl星吧。但是活下来，经历了一场闹剧其实那些讨论并没有改变什么，只是不变的东西也有值得庆幸。还是在地球好好活着吧。妈妈和女孩子都好好。
披着bdsm皮的纯爱剧。剧情节奏都一般，怀念五十度灰，至少氛围很到位。
前面还行，但是我真的不懂，明明是个讲bdsm的片子，为啥最后都要谈恋爱啊？
