值个三星半把，放在今天有这样纯粹的西部片确实不易。但把它放在那些优秀的西部片里比较来看，就显得很平庸了。
很传统很正统的西部片了。正所谓惹老实人，一时善念，麻烦缠身，岂料揭开不为人知的过去，终究该还的还是要还。
血的教训告诉我们，活在旧西部，不义之财不碰白不碰，太机灵的人能不救就别救，多一门语言可以救命！有孩子就让他早一点学一门防身术吧！
亨利的老婆一定非常美丽，才能生出这么漂亮的孩子。虽然亨利很厉害，但是孩子也没有好好教育一下，不知道他之后能不能生存下去。

久违的西部电影的味道。没什么比一个把汗水留在地里的干瘪老农更让人觉得窝囊，尤其他还眇着一只眼。但是在西部，每个老男人的过去都可能是传奇。美国电影喜欢拍这种惹不起的主题，源自他开拓时代的尚武延续。
剧情有点相似 到走出了另一种方式 或许是亲情的温服让人为之改变 也为之有所牵挂

西部风格，悠远辽阔。大爷虽离江湖已远，但大爷还是那个大爷。
我不相信救赎，但看着你抚育你这样的孩子让我觉得生命有意义。大概就是这么个意思吧。剧情不复杂，脉络清晰，不拖泥带水。唯一的不足是缺乏张力来弥补稍显单一的剧情。

拓荒精神下的孤胆英雄，有些科恩兄弟《大地惊雷》的影子。事了拂衣去，深藏功与名。想起戈达尔说的那句：一部电影只需要一步枪和女孩就够了。我也超想拍酷女孩枪手的故事。
优秀的西部片太少了！节奏虽缓慢，导演见功底。情节虽简单，反转够给力。演技过硬，剧本扎实！
